N. Ai Jiangnan is a beautiful single lotus with yellow petals and pink tips. This medium-sized lotus is an excellent bloomer. The flowers are medium to large and bloom early in the season. On the first day, the flower appears as a lovely pink color and opens slightly. By the second day, the bloom fully opens and turns yellow with pink tips.
As of March 2016, the hybridizer in China has officially named this lotus Ai Jiangnan. The name "Ai" refers to a Chinese news reporter from the Jiangnan region. Previously, this lotus was known as Spring in Jiangnan in 2015 and Beauty in Jiangnan in early 2016.
